Centren kommer att spela en grundl\u00e4ggande roll f\u00f6r att st\u00e4rka Europas innovations-ekosystem f\u00f6r halvledare genom att f\u00f6rse f\u00f6retag \u2013 s\u00e4rskilt sm\u00e5-, medelstora- och nystartade f\u00f6retag \u2013 med viktiga resurser f\u00f6r att utveckla halvledarl\u00f6sningar, inklusive support, utbildning och tillg\u00e5ng till infrastrukturanl\u00e4ggningar etablerade enligt Chips Act, s\u00e5som pilotlinjer och designplattformar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This targeted approach ensures long-term investment in local expertise, creating a sustained focus on innovation and growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Sweden, Vinnova, together with universities and companies, is investing in eleven new competence centers (counted from January 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The goal is for new knowledge and groundbreaking technology to be developed, disseminated and used to ultimately strengthen Sweden's competitiveness. The initiative will also contribute to attracting top talent for world-leading research and development in Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Competence center for semiconductor development \u2013 Swedish Chip Competence Center (SCCC) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Semiconductor Sweden har ett n\u00e4ra samarbete med Swedish Chip Competence Center (SCCC), Sveriges centrala nod f\u00f6r halvledarkompetens. SCCC st\u00f6djer och sammanf\u00f6r startups samt sm\u00e5 och medelstora f\u00f6retag med forskare och innovat\u00f6rer inom spjutspetsteknik. Genom att erbjuda utbildning och st\u00f6d underl\u00e4ttar de tillg\u00e5ngen till halvledarteknik och finansiering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As an active part of the European Network of Competence Centres for Chips (ENCCC) within the Chips JU, SCCC bridges the gap between advanced research and market introduction. They offer concrete guidance and connect different actors to provide access to semiconductor technology, training, financing, pilot lines and advanced equipment.
