\nThe idea of SEK Handbook 451, Environment \u2013 RoHS, is to provide Swedish companies and organizations with a comprehensive and easily accessible description of the new RoHS Directive (2011\/65\/EU).<\/p>\n

SEK Handbook 451 describes which products are covered and which restriction requirements apply and shows a workflow for how to apply the directive and compile the required documentation. It also provides a description of the RoHS directive, its background, purpose and scope.<\/p>\n

The manual also contains the entire directive text in Swedish, the EU Commission's questions and answers (FAQ in English) and the standard SS-EN 50591 which describes how to compile the documentation.<\/p>\n
