This award was established to highlight and demonstrate the endless possibilities of electronics, as well as to stimulate and encourage more and more smart solutions that in turn create stronger competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This year&#039;s Winner:<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Prevas won the &quot;Company&quot; category, with the entry AmbuMan<br \/>\nAlex Hedberg, Florian Curinga and Mikael Erneberg from KTH won the \u201dStudent\u201d category, with the entry EVAM System.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-264534\" src=\"https:\/\/svenskelektronik.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2016\/11\/2016vinnare01.jpg\" alt=\"2016vinnare01\" width=\"500\" height=\"368\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The winners were announced during a ceremony at the \u201dIndustry Reception\u201d after the first day of the Embedded Conference Scandinavia, which is being held at Kistam\u00e4ssan on November 22-23.<br \/>\nAll nominated entries will be displayed there.<\/p>\n<p>The Swedish Embedded Award was presented for the fourteenth time this year. This year&#039;s two award categories are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business<\/strong> for the best contribution from Swedish companies<br \/>\n<strong>Student<\/strong> for the best contribution from students at Swedish universities<\/p>\n<p>In the category <strong>Business <\/strong>(Enterprise Category) Prevas won with its entry <strong>AmbuMan<\/strong>, AmbuMan is a medical training environment for practicing methods to reverse sudden cardiac arrest. AmbuMan can control up to six training manikins from one system. The student connects wirelessly to the training manikins with their computer or phone and can thus access virtual patient information, or virtual defibrillators. The instructor can control the different manikins and receives all the information from the different users after the lesson.<\/p>\n<p>In the category <strong>Student<\/strong> (Student Category) was won by Alex Hedberg, and Florian Curinga from KTH in Stockholm with the entry <strong>EVAM System. <\/strong>The student award consists of a <strong>scholarship of 50,000 SEK<\/strong>. EVAM System is a warning system for emergency vehicles, which sends warning messages to nearby cars via their sound system. The system, which is installed in the emergency vehicle, sends warning messages to cars in the vicinity and is played in the sound system regardless of the setting.
