{"id":615937,"date":"2020-11-11T15:19:32","date_gmt":"2020-11-11T14:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/svenskelektronik.se\/?p=615937"},"modified":"2020-11-11T15:19:32","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T14:19:32","slug":"vad-ar-scip-och-pa-vilket-satt-angar-det-mig","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/svenskelektronik.se\/en\/vad-ar-scip-och-pa-vilket-satt-angar-det-mig\/","title":{"rendered":"What is SCIP and how does it affect me?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SCIP is a new database for consumers about hazardous chemicals in products.<br \/>\n<\/strong>SCIP \u2013 is the abbreviation for <em>Substances <\/em>often <em>Concern <\/em><em>In articles <\/em>as such or in <em>complex <\/em>objects (Products).<\/p>\n<p>When goods become waste, the presence of hazardous substances can make the waste unsuitable for recycling. The EU has a goal of non-toxic material cycles. To promote such a development, it has <strong>European Chemicals Agency ECHA<\/strong>, has been commissioned to create the SCIP database to which suppliers of goods must report the presence of particularly hazardous substances in the goods. The information is thus available throughout the goods&#039; entire life cycle, including the waste stage.
