In a world where a US-dominated unipolar world order is being replaced by an increasingly multipolar reality, IDEA analyst Jordi Tarrida points out ways forward for the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a new video analysis and article from IDEA (International Distributors of Electronics Association), Tarrida discusses four crucial themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nearshoring<\/strong>: Where should you invest today \u2013 and why?<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Next allocation<\/strong>: How do you balance risk and capital commitment in the supply chain?<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EBITDA improvements<\/strong>: Where is the money in the semiconductor chain?<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI and digitalization<\/strong>: How technology can increase margins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, Tarrida highlights, among other things, how Europe&#039;s industrial map is being redrawn as production moves closer to home. Countries like Hungary, Romania and Morocco will be winners \u2013 but the Nordic region also has a strategic role as a technology and component supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also warns of recurring component shortages and points to the connection between monetary policy, interest rates and lead times.
