Seminar on Defence Electronics
Welcome
On 22 January, we gather key stakeholders from government, industry and research in Kista for a seminar on Sweden’s strategic capabilities in defence electronics. The session offers high-level perspectives on national priorities, industry needs and the growing importance of advanced electronics and semiconductors in defence applications.
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) will present insights from its ongoing review of semiconductor access in critical defence systems, highlighting key themes, challenges and areas where stronger collaboration is needed.
The programme also includes a panel with representatives from FOI, the industry and experts on the national semiconductor strategy. Together, they will reflect on Sweden’s current position in the global context and how international dynamics influence national resilience.
